Wolf Federation PoV (Loyalists)

“This Jennifer Aldail with WNN here at the reinstated Wolf Federation Senate where Sky Marshal Sam will be addressing the Senate on a live televised statement all acrossed the Federation and the lost territories”. Jennifer turned to see Senator Michelle walking in to the senate chamber. “Excuse me Senator Michelle what are your thoughts on the Sky Marshals Sams decision to reinstate the senate”. She said as she raised the microphone up to him.

Michelle turned to speak into the microphone. “The Sky Marshal must have a really good plan if he intends to rally all of us here for a speech to the whole Federation and the rebel territories”. He finished as he turned and went to his seat.

“Sir are you ready to make your speech”. Said Admiral Lily handing Sam his berat.

Sam chuckled from her question. “No Lily I’m not ready. But no one can really say when one is ready”. He said as he put his beret on.”Now help your old man get his speech together”. He said with a smile.

Lily smiled at her father and helped him gather his speech and the Declaration for him to give to day.

A moment later Sam stepped out into the senate chamber and walked over to the stand and adjusted his mice. Sam clears his throat and begins to speak. “Good afternoon Senators of the Wolf Federation and thank you for joining me here for this special occasion. Now I know when we last had this senate in session we had many more faces here. Now that number has gone down since the rebellion and when I made the mistake of sending you all home because I thought it was the only way to sustain the Wolf Federation from collapsing. But now I see that I was wrong”.

“Ladies and Gentlemen what I have with me today is a document once thought lost when Omega fell”. Sam then held up the Declaration of Freedom and Rights. The senators then looked on in shock as they looked upon the document that had created the Wolf Federation so many year ago. “I shall now read the document that our forefathers had written so long ago”. He said as he put on his reading glasses. “In time of great stress and of great hardship we the people of the Federation have a duty to come to the aid of our neighbors and friends when they have fallen upon hard time and are threaten by those who wish to cause him or her harm. We vow to fight for what is right and to defend Freedom and the rights of all men in the Federation and beyond its borders. We pledge to give up our land our homes and our lives in order to defend the Wolf Federation and her people from all those who wish to do nothing more than to cause corruption and deceit to our great nation”.

Sam put down the document and then switched over to his speech. “The problem that we had before the fall and after it is that we the elected bodies of the Federation had failed the system not the system failing us. What need to happen now is that we need to start working together in order to reunite the Federation to what it once was. Not as a disorganized mess but as a well oiled machine that can not only defend our core worlds but our outer worlds as well. Many of you probably don’t remember the hardships of X-wars where we had face the Talie Empire that was under the rule of the evil Talie Empress who wanted nothing more than the complete obliteration of the Wolf Federation and all her people. Well there was once a time I didn’t even think of fighting in the war because I was satisfied with how my life was going. You see I grew up on a farm with my mother father and little sister. To me those were the happiest years of my life but those days didn’t last forever because one tragic night a fire had broken out and burned down my home only me and my sister had survived the blaze. Having know where to go I turned to the only other form of income that m family had know the military. There I learned the hard lessons of honor, brotherhood, and humility as they molded me into a soldier in order to fight in the war. But it was on the battlefield that I learned my greatest lessons that would come to serve me in life. I learn leadership, loss and sacrifice. Those were my trials of survival. This civil war is a trial that will test the strength and resolve of the Wolf Federation and if we survive or not. To our former colonies I would like to apologize for how  we had chosen to neglect your cries for help”.

“When the Federation was forged it had one goal and that was a society where all were equal and free. From this day forward I vow to not only lift the martial law off of all of the Federations people and I vow to give the power back to the people and put an end to corruption in the senate. First off to the senators from our remaining out worlds. I pledged to increase your planets protection by not only increasing the number of Wolf Federation Naval vessels but also creating a new Wolf Federation volunteer navy to help protect your planets from more pirate attacks. I will see to it that all of our people will receive aid in times of crisis and send them military support when they come under attack and protect you from all evils that our enemies send against us. Now I ask that the rebel forces please lower your guns and look at your enemy are you really that different from one another in the end we are all people of the Federation. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day”.

A second later the entire room was filled with clapping and cheers for the Sky Marshal. Sam then stepped back and made his way through the crowd shaking hands and saying thank you to all the senators who could make it to the meeting.

---------- Outer Rim Conglomerate PoV -----------------------

Lance corporal Alex Shepherd squinted behind his visor stepping forward, raising his left hand while his right brought up his S11 pointing at the driver as a truck approached the security checkpoint. He could see the faded logo on the side of the Alpha agriculture. One of the few companies left standing on Omega after the uprising.

“Good morning,” Shepherd called out as the truck stopped short of the gate, giving the driver a friendly smile. Giving a short laugh Shepherd was one part custom official and military police, and unlike the frontline soldiers he wore a open face helmet. Walking slowly to the to the drive side door Shepherd's light armor of interlocking nano steel ceramic plates shifted uniformly as he stopped in front of the drivers side door as the window rolled down. Automated gun towers and guard towers with T-57 machine gun flaking the checking point, which protected the massive set of door that were built into the walls looming over head leading to the captured city held by the Conglomerate. Each checkpoint was manned by two six man squads of Security troopers, one on watch and the other manning the guns.

“Morning,” replied the Truck driver, what looked like a kid barely out of his teens in his Alpha Agriculture uni. The driver held out the data pad with showed his credentials, cargo, and destination. Shepherd was a little taken back by the behavior because he had waited until his was asked.

“Not in a hurry are you kid?” he said still smiling as he read the data pad. David Harrison, truck driver for Alpine Cuisine Inc, based out of the western farmland. Cargo, about ten tons of grain

Private second class Johnson circled around the vehicle, carrying a small handheld scanner that was designed to check for chemical explosives. The grain was meant to sealed, but there have been reports that the enemy was going to try something. Letting in one grain that was holding any amount of chemical bio weapon or explosives would be a disaster waiting to happen.

That was the risk of their job, bring anything from outside the conglomerate.

“Yeah,” David said, with a short laugh. “I’m running a bit late today. Boss is going to rip me a new one if I don’t get there on time.” Stepherd nodded as he scanned the security pass. It looked like it checked out.

As Johnson continued his inspection of the truck Shepherd glanced behind at the tunnel that passed though the massive wall that blocked off the city from the outside. On this side of the wall the landscape was rough with thick but spiky grass rising out of the bomb shelled soil, amistad the war torn buildings that not to long ago held people going about their lives. The Federation failed us, our people a long time ago and now it was our time to bring about a new order to lead the people into the future.

On the other side, beyond all the fighting and shelling that fended off the occasional attacks from the Sep dogs and Loy pigs was a comparative paradise of tall buildings and thick, verdant plants that cover the streets and buildings in a oriate style. The only problem is the Conglomerate can only hold so many cities and points of value, but since the conflict above this planet as turn in the favor of our nation we have been able to push the others back.

“How is it looking?” Shepherd called out to Johnson's he circled around to his side of the truck. The tech specialist shrugged as he came about.

“It looks clean, no rot from what I can see-” Johnson started to say before he stop his face dropped in a look of horror. “Wait, No! At least half a ton of this shit!”

“Sep-smuggler!” Shepherd shouted, whirling towards Harrison with his S11 aiming for the drivers head.

Corporal Shepherd found himself looking down the barrel of a handgun, Harrison anxious demeanor replaced by an icy calm even as bullets were flying towards him.

“Peace for Rehinea!” the kid shouted, and Edwards dove to right as the handgun went off. Pain exploded from his left shoulder as the round slipped through his body armor, as he hit the ground his brought up his rifle depressing the trigger. A burst scythed through the thin metal of the truck driver side door, the frail metal was no match for the S11 assault rifle’s 8.5mm rounds. He wasn’t sure if he killed the driver but the blood spread against the broken glass.

More gunfire erupted from the window, Shepherd scrambled backwards amidst the the wild spray of desperate shots. He threw himself over the concrete barriers, and he could hear deep, cracking of the reports of the other zone security rifles as they fired on the truck.

The screams of the truck driver echoed in his ears, as the gunfire ripped apart his body.

A moment later heat and force washed over where Shepherd lay, and hiding behind the concrete divide, melted shrapnel careening through the air stabbing into the concrete wall like massive spikes used in old days of our forefathers. Shepherd waited for the shrapnel to stop raining down before he peeked over the barrier. the truck burned, intense heat rolled off it, the heat burning shepherds skin he dropped down in pain behind the barrier to protect himself from the agony. The klaxons wailed as it signed the attack to the outpost at the other end of the tunnel. There wasn't much left of the truck only pieces of it laying around and impeded into the walls and barriers of the checkpoint.

Suicide bomber, shepherd realized. He pushed himself up to lean against the barrier as two medics came running over to him and two others carrying what was left of Johnson out in a black body bag. As the medics started to lay him on a stretcher, all he could think was Crazy Sep bastards.

------------Rehinea Principality (Separatists) PoV ---------------------------

“Frie obwon Stron.”

The greeting was simple, quick and automatic. The motto of the righteous and he responded immediately.

“Ei Vison, Ei Zwek,” he replied with a smile as he reached out with his hand. The other figure before him clad in a black uniform with a thick, oriate crimson cape flowing out behind him shook the offered hand.

“Captain Attious,” he said with a smile, happy to see his old friend again. “It has been too long.”

“Time means nothing my friend in the service of our rebuilding nation, Commander Azure. replied Attious. He turned to gestured behind him towards the hallway, bathed in blood-red light. “Follow me, Commander. The meeting is down this way.” Commander Logan Azure, a lean sandy-haired man clad in simple black uniform of a Rihenaea officer, nodded as he walked down the passageway, follow closely by his friend.

“So you are still only a Captain? I would have expected you to become a Major or something higher after your service to our nation.” Azure asked as he walked  the taller, dark hair Attious shrugged.

“In the service of the royal guard of her princess, rank holds no importance,” he replied. “We only awarded according to our place and station in the vision of the Queen.”Azure nodded, smiling at his cousin dogmatic devotion to the nation. Ever since they were smugglers fighting against the Federation ever since the rape of their culture and society. They were fools to think that they could fend off from an invading race from space. Their technology was no match, they had the numbers, at first before the fire rained down from the sky. He was only a child when the sky darkened and the buildings fall down around him on the streets and the bodies crushed under the twisted steel and crumbing stone. Azure was no less devoted than Attious, his hate for the Federation ran deeper than the pools of blood and piles of bodies he walked though in the broken streets when he was a child.

“I have not been told why I have been summoned here.” Azure said snapping out of this thoughts, Attious shrugged again his cape ripped him his movements. They passed the temple arc-way as a dozen acolytes were seated around a holographic projector that was displaying ancient text about their races origins. Similar text were destroyed by the Federation during and after their slaughter of culture. It was only in secret were they able to protect their culture from the Federation soldiers, moving the text around losing many lives in order to safeguard it.

“You have seen it for yourself, have you not.” Attious asked, “The preparations are well underway, and I assume your summons have not been just to say hi to an old friend, you will be apart of the great plan.”

“I will admit even with the conflict raging across the systems I have noticed the troops massing here,” Azure responded.

“You only noticed there were many more sisters present then normal,” Attious shot back with Azure grinning.

“A lady, devotee to the nation never escapes my notice, old friend,” he said “But I would like to know what my purpose is in this plan.”

“Well you will find out in a second cousin,” Attious replied as they paused before a large archway. The Royal guard took off his left gauntlet and extended his hand, the glittering red crystals tattoo that engulfed his hand in the red light. Laser scanners ran over his complex weave of crystalline filaments carefully woven into his flesh, the door slid open.

The beyond the archway is a chapel like room filled with waist high mist that glowed a dark red from the lighting. Azure stepped forward, and noticed that Attious had stayed behind, his head bowed slightly as he stayed behind the doorway. Frowning, Azure stepped further into the room.

To his right were long rows of pews and seats, enough for thousands of Rehinea soldiers, but no one was seated in the metal rows. To his left, there were ceil high red and white stained glass windows, with a trio of data screens, rising out of the ground in man height obelisk shaped mounts projecting the ancient texts.

The whole chamber was empty only the sounds of his footsteps could be heard as Azure walked to the center of the room, wondering why he had been summoned to this most protected site.

“And the child came back home into the loving embrace of his people.”

The voice shook Azure and he stood still not believing what he was hearing. The words, the sound, the voice echoed in his ears. A familiar warmth in the voice he had heard countless times but only one other time in person. This time it wasn't a recording from a holo or artificial, this voice was real and it was right in front of him, in this room.

The figure moved out from behind the obelisks,a dn Azure stood there his body filled with enjoyment. His eyes on the figure who emerged, framed by the radiant light flowing from the stained glass.

Her smile sent shivers of devotion flowing through the commander, and Azure dropped to his knees lowering his head as he has just seen the leader of Rehinea. His Queen, the one who was kept him going for all these years.

Orea.
Azure couldn't speak his word were lost as they tried to escape his mouth. He had heard rumors, and the Federation claimed that they actually killed Orea during the first war, but no body to proved it. The faith had been kept strong throughout the nation for the last five decades, and Azure dreamt that one day her would be able to see her once more before his death to repay her.

This was too much, too incredible to ask for, he was being spoken to, personally by Orea herself.

“Rise, my son and stand with me.” Orea spoke, Azure rose slowly afraid that if he jumped to his feet that this would turn out to be a dream, and the one that saved his life so long ago would fade away. His head now looking into the face of his queen that regarded him with a gentle and understanding smile. Her dark red hair flowing down to her smooth pale shoulders. Her sea blue eyes, her light eyes glittered with unfathomable intelligence and unshakable beauty and generosity her voice echoed the words of knowledge and mercy. Her benevolence that knew no bounds to her people.

Orea raised her hand slightly, and Azure understood her intention. he slowly walked forward to face the queen as an equal.

“I have always awarded faith and believed that the deeds of a person and not the words are more important.” Orea explained as she stepped closer, “and your deeds have blazed in the void above all others.”

“In my exile, you have never wavered Orea continued, her smile growing. “Not with the pirate raids, the attacks on the Federation within our homeland, or in the great Insurrection. You risked your life countless times to topple the Federation, to further our cause to honor my name and the the nation.”

Azure nearly choked, at those words for a moment as Orea bowed her head to him, for only an instant his gratitude nearly made the war torn soldier’s legs go weak. That Orea herself would honor him in such a way that he could scarcely believe and Azure honestly felt he didnt deserve, and yet the queen has placed it upon him

“I must ask you once more to bring glory to Rehinea, I’ve seen how the Federation has grown vulnerable, bloated by arrogance and complacency, The stage as been set the Federation has been broken up and the time is to strike back, to end them and rebuild our society among the stars.

As Orea spoke her words came faster and more furiously, more passionately and Azure found himself being lifted up and carried by the queens emotions and the anger and contempt in her voice as she spoke of casting down the fascist Federation.

“What do you ask of me my queen.” Azure asked and Orea anger faded replaced by a loving and understanding smile.

“You will go to one of our forward bases, and you will launch the attack that will strike into the heart of the Federation.”

Azure bowed again, Orea motioned to the entrance where he came in at.

“Now go my son, she commanded and Azure straightened, “More glory then you can even imagine awaits us but only if you succeed in the mission I have laid out for you.

------------The Free Republic Systems  PoV ----------------------

“Get me a another damn trauma kit down here!” Ovenin screamed over the sound of the dying and injured, the trauma center was overflowing with wounded soldiers, militia and civilians. Just like it had been for the last few weeks since the uprising. Ever since the republic had been formed those who had fought in its name had been under constant siege by the other factions here on Omega. Ovenin had been a lead doctor at a medical center before joining the Repub forces, immediately pressed into being head doctor of the only medical area after the last guy had been killed from the last Conglomerate artillery barrage. From then the last 3 days he hadn't slept for more than an hour, constant fighting had worn both him and these people down, confined to one of the smaller cities on the planet the Republic had been encircled by the Conglomerate and harassed by Loyalist raiding parties. He spat, the smell and taste of blood in his mind coupled with the thought of the old federation made him sick, he wouldn't stand for any system which oppressed their people and so far the Republic had kept everyone safe. Even though they had withdrawn from Omega Ovenin was left behind along with the rest here, with the Republic not having the forces to evacuate them all, he had volunteered to stay behind.

A nurse came running over fumbling with a trauma kit as Ovenin tried to stem the bleeding on a soldiers leg, it was everywhere and he wasn't going to make it but he tried anyway. The man was screaming, out of painkillers he had nothing to help him. He struggled for a few minutes to stem the bleeding, a main artery had been cut and when the man finally slipped away and went quiet he threw the kit to the floor.

“Fuck it!” He swore angry yet another had died. This particular soldier had been hit by Loyalists in a raid protecting food stores and this is what he got in return…

“Doc you're needed in command!” Someone shouted over the sounds of the medical bay, Ovenin swearing quietly to himself and making his way through the large building, and across a ruined street and down a few alleys, tired and weary soldiers and battle scarred vehicles filled each as he finally got to the makeshift command bunker, made from a old basement in a supermarket area. Nodding to the troops there he entered and saw the familiar sight of Commander Beitris, leant over a plotting table with some paper maps scattered around, the proper command suites had been destroyed when the last command building had been bombed in a conglom airstrike.

“I want god damn troopers put up on the north approach! I dont give a shit if we don't have enough those civilians will be butchered otherwise! I dont fucking know, tell them to use rocks and pieces of rubble if they have to! And where the hell are we going to get more ammunition from?” She said shouting into one of the coms arrays.

“Commander?” Ovenin said as he made his approach.

“What!?” She shouted spinning round her face angry as she saw Ovenin and sighed “Shit sorry, things are tough doc and you dont deserve to be yelled at, your there fixing up my boys and i'm here trying to keep you all safe… God I hate Alphadays” She remarked running her hand through her blonde hair.

“You wanted to see me about something?” He replied unable to conjure up small talk in a situation like this. She stared blankly before remembering.

“Ah yes, how are you doing for supplies?” She asked turning to the maps and in a rather unadvanced way brought out a simple marker pen.

“Medical supplies? We haven't got much left, I am practically out of painkillers and antibiotics as well as running low on trauma kits and bandages, we are having to use the deads clothes” Ovenin replied.

“Ah fuck… We are low on ammo, and food after those bastard loyalists raiding our supplies yesterday… Say how did that soldier fair? The one who was shot in the leg?”

“He… Didnt make it, he passed away shortly before I was asked to come here” Ovenin said coldly.

“Shit doc im sorry… God damn he was a good kid… As I was saying, we are low on everything and the Republic won't be sparing any forces to come save our asses anytime soon, I have conglom forces assaulting the north in a renewed offensive towards the civi shelters and I got loyalists sniffing around my damn ass every night. Doc do you know of any medical warehouses or supply depots around here? Any which the medical staff were made aware of before the crisis during emergency protocol?” She asked pointing to the large map of the city and the surrounding area, she passed him the marker pen and he nodded.

“Yea. Here, here and here, I dunno if this one will be any good it was fairly public but these two were secret for emergency crisis support” He said circling areas. She smiled.

“Bingo, good I knew I could rely on you doc. I will try cobble together some light vehicles and some men to go check them out perhaps what little heavy armour we have left too, we need those supplies without them conglom will be executing our asses by the time this week is up” She said with a glimmer of hope.

“Glad I could help” Ovenin smiled lightly.

“Help? Haha you have helped enough, if it was up to me I would order you to take a break, oh wait it is up to me. Go get some sleep” She laughed.

“But I have patients which need…”

“Didnt you hear me man? Rest thats an order, or none of us will be doing our jobs right” Ovenin merely shrugged and nodded. before leaving the command bunker and heading for one of the dorms, located in a bombed out store front, hearing the sound of distant gunfire, shouting and the voices of the various others Ovenin found an empty bunk and laid down. He stared at the cracked ceiling, someone would help them. If only they could get out of this… He wondered as his tiredness overtook him and he fell into a deep sleep.

------------Black Fang Pov (Anarchists, from the 3 major Warlords) ---------------------------

----------Warlord  Falcone ---------

The dark flickering lights of the charred out corridor of the Spartan class warship, was the only conforte to the boy being dragged had left. News of open rebellion had reached them on the ship and as soon as the new hit the net the other ships in the fleet sent out to aid the outer systems open fire on them. Jump Jet maries started to board the ships and firefights broke out among the fleet. The two marines carrying him down ever close to the bright light at the end of the corridor where.

Cullen had just joined up with the Federation military at his 16th birthday day. Ready to start a new life serving his nation. His parents would have been so proud of him having been able to keep him and his sister together after what happened. His sister was back on Omega. . . Omega, the world were the riots broke out. His sister, would he ever be able to see her again.

The light at the end of the corridor was in  full view now, opening up to the main hangar bay. People were being sorted into groups. Broken and bleeding his fellow crew members were trying to comfort each other. He was thrown into a group letting his eyes adjust to the light he saw the captain along with the bridge crew on their knees in front of the Jets, with rifles pointed at their heads.

Before he could say anything the rifles ripped through their bodies, their heads were gone and large holes pouring out blood in their backs as they fell to the ground. The hangar bay fell silent after that display, the echoing sound of the gunfire racked his head. swaying from the blow to the head he got early when the airlock blew right in front of him left him unconscious for most the fighting on the ship. By the time he came too he was already being dragged here.

The silence was replaced with laugher from the Jets, as a shuttle flew in to the bay. The Jets cheered as it landed. A man in full Orbital Marine Combat Suit stepped out flanked by a pair of Jets walked among the groups weeding people out. Those who were picked out where pushed out the shielded bay left to float in space as a lifeless corpse.

The man stopped at Cullen, reached down and pulled him to his feet holding him up to stop him from falling back down. The reach for the chain around his neck pulling out his dogtags, he gestured to one of the jets. The Jets walked over and started to drag him to the others floating in space. Cullen tried to fight back but he still couldnt see straight, his head was pounding his stomach was knotting itself, the pain was too much and Cullen passed out, but not before being lead into the shuttle where he was strapped into a chair.

------- Warlord Yuri -------

“Admiral Stukoz, we have an Incoming WNN report from Omega. Should I patch it though?”

Yuri nodded to the man as the holo display started to play the new about riots breaking out and the outer systems in open rebellion.

“Move the fleet into the inner astro belts, Have the jets prep for a raiding, charge the forward photon cannons.” Yuri orders his thick northern accent hard to understand.

“Sir? We have orders to respond to the rebellion in the outer systems.”the comms officer started to say before Yuri took out his MG-9 and unload the clip in the man.

“Are there any other aboard that hold loyalty to that dying nation?” Yuri asked looking around while reloading the clip.

Admiral Stukoz fleet was comprised of men from the outer rim systems that have grown up and known the protection of only themselves. Before Yuri joined the Federation Navy he was one of the last few remaining pirate barons that held a few systems. When he joined up his men followed, the only problem was the new recruits that the higher up packed his ships with.

“No sir!” his men respond as the body of the comm officer was dragged out to an airlock and replaced. The 36th Assault fleet moved out and started their raiding of the mining and farming worlds in the Omega system as they were on their way out to the rim.

------ Warlord Samir ------

Samir looked over the reports of the latest military exercises. As a hero of the Wolf Federation and one of the leading generals in the X wars he was a seasoned veteran and had not only aided the federation to victory but had been given some of the highest honours available. He had been lauded by the populace as a hero and yet… for all he had done the political parties had given him nothing but medals and a back seat position as governor of a backwater world. They had forced him to retire, to do propaganda pieces and to do inspiring visits. He himself had wanted to stay with his men and knowing they had been killed in the various uprisings on Omega it had been the last straw.

The Federation had turned its back on Samir long ago and while normally someone trying to gain independence would be regarded as a traitor people had actually regarded Samir's choice to succeed from the federation as a good choice, and once the news of the Uprisings and the shattering of the Federation had come Samir had smiled to himself. His followers who had admired or respected him had flocked to his cause, and having now carved himself out a small empire he was ready to take revenge on the Federation, and make sure his name would ring proud after he restored it to its former glory under his rule.

Samir laughed “Many like me will try, but I will succeed” He opened a channel to the fleet forces he had loyal in orbit “Admiral Parol”

“Yes Lord Samir?” He responded.

“It seems we require a little demonstration of our power, make haste to Omega, cause some damage. And then pull back, let those dogs know who they are dealing with” Samir grinned.

“Of course my lord, we will carry out your orders immediately”

“Excellent…” Samir sneered staring up through the window towards the night sky.
