Chaos: Part 2: Sanctum

*The camera zooms out of Cryonia and zooms in front of a huge, mysterious, dark blue battlecrusier, A couple of Nightingales walk to the bridge in fear, The Banisher is sitting on his chair, faced away from the scared Nightingales*

Nightingale #.1: My Lord, The Northern Cryonians....they escaped

The Banisher: I thought I trusted that Battalion Magenta never failed a mission let alone missed a target

Nightingale #.2: Sir, that's the thing, we found out that Battalion Cyan's Super Soldier leader was killed by one of them, and we are picking up reports that their at the border of the Ultra Cit- *The Banisher quickly stabs this nightingale in the throat, then he tears him apart in half *

The Banisher: WHY DID I GIVE YOU THIS MISSION? FOR YOU TO FAIL?! NOW LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, THEIR AT THE BORDER OF THE ULTRA CITY!!! *Roars loudly in frustration, then he smashes computer circuits and grabs the first Nightingale and slams his head on his fists very hard until his face was a gaping hole* BATTALION CYAN!!! Your leader was killed by a certain blue Cryonian, I don't care if this is a suicide mission, I don't fucking care, I want you to find him and bring him to me personally!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!

Battalion Cyan: Yes my lord Zavarg

The Banisher: If I find out that you failed....I will personally make sure you never see the light of day again. *everyone from Battalion Cyan nodded and walked out of the bridge*

------------------------------------------------Meanwhile-----------------------------------------------------

Leonidas: How did you escape?

Talbot: Well, I was running from The Nightingales that chased me, I was cornered at the edge of a ravine, I had no hope but then, that was when I saw a huge nightingale coming out of the trees and killing a heck load of those Nightingales, I climbed up the nearest tree for protection. All but two survived and escaped. He turned to me and took me to his house where I could be protected, he told me to head to The Ultra City where I could be safe under the protection of The C.C.O.L. I didn't need to ask about what those creatures were, They were Nightingales, remember brother? When The C.C.O.L advertises their propaganda on T.V and we see them chopping them in half? Well, I must be frank, I knew you would encounter him and head this way

Leonidas: Really?

Talbot: Yes, really, don't you know that we have a bond so close, it's unbreakable? Our brotherly love for eachother is immortal.

Leonidas: So....what now?

Talbot: Now we head towards the city, of course

Leonidas: Oh...yes, of course, yeah let's go

Talbot: So, what did Zadura tell you?

Leonidas: He told me to join The C.C.O.L

Talbot: You too huh?

Leonidas: Yeah, he also told me if I were to have vengeance, I'd go there

Talbot: You know, you don't really have to do it, I know I'm not, I want to become a chef

Leonidas: A chef?

Talbot: Yeah, I always had an interest in the culinary arts of cooking

Leonidas: Well I'm going to join The C.C.O.L

Talbot: Then we must part ways again I'm afraid, who knows, I might even own a restaurant and you would come back as a Cryonian Ultra Space Marine *laughs* well...I wish you all the best of luck, brother

Leonidas: You too, Talbot, may the gods watch over you and your kin

Talbot: May the gods watch over you as well * the two smiled as they parted ways*

It was such a relief that I get to see my brother again, I thought for sure that he was dead but my gut instinct thought otherwise, that was the last time I ever saw him, sadly. I continued on the path to the Ultra City, hoping I would find safety there....and to bide my time for vengeance.

I finally made it to the Ultra City, the place was unlike I ever seen before, it's like I stepped into a whole new world, I was so used to being confined in a town surrounded with Angusta Trees and Fvala Plants, this place though....this place was more spacious and had lots of people only these were purple! Purple and orange Cryonians? I never seen my kind like that, it makes me wonder what else have I missed out during my 13 years in the forests. The buildings grew taller than the Angusta Trees, they almost reached the skies and above them, I could see huge military starships and civilian cars whiz by. I asked people directions to The C.C.O.L, they answered but I saw in their eyes that they were shocked and a bit afraid, huh....I wonder why is that?

I found the C.C.O.L, it was enormous, the sheer size was grand! I bet it is so huge that you could see it from space, I looked right and left and saw that this building stretched a long, long way. Anyways, I went inside and I saw a lot of Cryonians even ones that wore Armor and they were tall! I saw the administration desk and went up to the administrator.

Leonidas: Hello, I'm here for a job

Service desk: Ok, I need your graduation certificate from The Ultra City Academy

Leonidas: The what?

Service desk: Not from around here huh? Well, in order for you to join the army, you need a certificate from this particular school. The Ultra City Military Academy is a college where students who choose their path to join the army go here to get their certificate. The certificate is needed in order to enter, it gives us proof that you are responsible to do the right things and follow orders correctly.

Leonidas: So, if I come here with a certificate, I can enter here

Service Desk: That is correct, My Northern Cryonian friend.

Leonidas: Can I ask a question, why do people look at me weirdly?

Service Desk: Because your a Northern Cryonian, your kind is one of the oldest in this planet and quite possibly the rarest species here. We haven't seen your kind since The Great Feud, and back then it was a horrible and violent war. Your kind did unimaginable things, cruel things to be exact

Leonidas: And am I cruel?

Service Desk: You know, I can see a person's personality just by looking at them and looking at you, I must say your heart is quite purehearted and valiant, you definitely belong here but unfortunately you can't enter without a certificate.

Leonidas: Ok, I will attend this school and I will earn this certificate, goodbye


Damn....I wasn't allowed in, But I must not give up hope, she said that there is an academy here that can train me to be a soldier, now I know what I must do.

*Leonidas builds a Skybed on the Buildings, he climbs on it and looks at the lights of the city, he wraps himself in his bed*

Leonidas: so....this is The Ultra City, what an amazing view, so peaceful. I can't wait to attend the school.

*A few Nightingales sneak under covers around the city and slowly crawl towards Leonidas and quickly snatching him, Leonidas screams but his mouth is muffled with a Nightingale's hand covering it, then they knock him unconscious *

*Leonidas wakes up slowly hearing muffled sounds....then everything becomes clear to him*

The Banisher: Is he contained?

Nightingale #.1: Yes, my lord, he is contained

The Banisher: *looks at Leonidas* Well....Did you seriously think you could run away from me? Well, I have a newsflash for you, You can't escape us.

Leonidas: You wouldn't dare kill me

The Banisher: No, I wouldn't!!  *Gets closer to Leonidas's face and smashes the bars loudly*....I'm going to wear you in this cell until you die, then I will grab your corpse and I will feed you to my fellow nightingales

Leonidas: I will get out of here

The Banisher: Yes, you will try.....again, and again, and again, and again. It's what I'm counting on *he leaves*

Leonidas: There must be a way to get out of here

Nightingale: There isn't

Leonidas: *yelps* what are you?

Nightingale: I was placed under execution for failing a mission

Leonidas: Well....you shouldn't scare me like that

Nightingale: (sarcastic) Sorry, I didn't know that you get to keep your head

Leonidas: Well, there has to be a way to get out of here, air vents or something

Nightingale: I wish I could help you, but as you can see the state of which I am in, there's really nothing I can do

Leonidas: Well, maybe we can work something out, you help me get out of here, and I'll help you get out of here and out of reach from The C.C.O.L's eyes, do we have a deal?

Nightingale: Ok, we have a deal, now do you see the guards?

Leonidas: Yeah, I see them

Nightingale: I can distract them while you stab them in the back with one of their knives and I'll take their keys so we can free ourselves

Leonidas: Ok

Nightingale: (Hisqa Daxadra kakuvoco ta rikaa) "Hey, asswipes! I have a weapon on me"

*One of the Guards release the Nightingale and grasps into his arm very hard, beating him in the process, Leonidas uses his inborn Northern Cryonian agility and with great might, he stabs The Guard Nightingale in the back*

Nightingale: Well, we did it, now we find an exit, the closest drop pod is close.

Leonidas: Back there, what was that language?

Nightingale: Never mind about that, follow me, oh and by the way, you maybe needing this, your spear won't be enough to combat these nightingales. *Gives Leonidas a Nightingale Javelin Assault Rifle*

Get ready, here they come!!

Leonidas: By the way, I haven't ask you about your name

Nightingale: the name's Bactria, Bactria Xcaygu

Leonidas: Mine's Leonidas. Leonidas Zephyr'os

Bactria: Pleasure to meet you, now let's get out of here!

I was surprised that this Nightingale is helping me and he wears The Banisher's colours, I felt very scared and nervous, already I'm placed in a situation where I have to fight for my life...well, at least this would be good training for me. I ran and took cover as The Banisher's soldiers were firing at me, I took a deep breath and quickly shot them with precision.

Bactria: Nice shot, I might have underestimated you, you do know your way with weapons

Leonidas: I never heard you say that-

Bactria: Let's not squander around that, just keep shooting, I'll cover your back!

Leonidas: *thinks in his mind* Some Nightingale.....

I followed Bactria's order and kept shooting, the more I shot, the more adrenaline I had and it felt....sweet, surprisingly. We nearly made it out of the ship! Freedom, I can already taste it!

The Banisher: Where do you think your going? Ohhhhh....your trying to get to the drop pods *presses button to launch all drop pods* that's a shame....

Bactria: *hears the drop pods leaving* oh no, he launched all the pods, ok, new plan, there's a secret pod left for The Banisher, if we can take that, we'll be able to leave here.

Leonidas: Uh, Bactria? *points at the screen and sees a self destruct timer counting down*

Bactria: Shit, that's just great.....No, we have to stop The Banisher from leaving this ship and taking the pod, that's our main priority.

Leonidas: But the-

Bactria: Forget about the bomb, there's no time!

*Leonidas quickly shoots through the horde of Nightingale and sees the door of the bridge,Bactria sets an energy disrupted grenade he got from the dead nightingale and the grenade blows up the door  

The Banisher: Well, your quite the little faggot aren't you Leonidas? And I'm very disappointed in you Field Marshal Bactria, rather than wait a week for execution *grabs Bactria by the neck * How about I execute you......ON THE SPOT!!

Leonidas: YOU LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!

The Banisher: *snorts surprised and turns to Leonidas slowly* What did you just say?

Leonidas: I said, leave....him.....alone!

The Banisher: *throws Bactria on the wall hard and walks to Leonidas* I'll KILL your pitiful friend and there is not a damn thing you can do about it!!!

*Leonidas dodges the punch and punches The Banisher, he turns to Leonidas with his mouth bleeding, laughing*

The Banisher: *licks the blood off his mandibles* Impressive...most impressive

*The Banisher lunges at Leonidas and punches him rapidly, causing severe pain per blow, Leonidas scream in pain as The Banisher scratches near Leonidas's eye, causing a lot of blood gashing out, Leonidas falls to the floor *

The Banisher: *Licks the blood of his claw* Tasty....Now, here's what I'll do, I'm going to kill you and then, I'm going to eat your flesh instead, why give your kill to your comrades where you can keep it for free.

Leonidas: *Leonidas sees the gun Bactria dropped and aims at the window* Hey Banisher, Fuck you! *shoots the window and The Banisher gets sucked out the window and the emergency windows are activated*

Bactria: Thank you for saving me, you know, I think there's more to you than meets the eye.

Leonidas: Let's leave before the whole place collapses

Bactria: I agree *the two enter the drop pod and set the coordinates to the edge of The Ultra City*


You know, I learned something today, I know how to handle myself now, I know how to hold a gun and shoot, I met another friendly Nightingale and I met The Banisher, the bastard that killed my parents, I took him on and defeated him, but I'm not sure if he died, my gut instinct tells me that he is alive. I can worry about him another time, for now, I have to get that certificate.
