Histirion System: Carnaith space

In the DHR allied battle command center, the various commanders would continue to confer over the tabletop map and its' 3D representation above it, watching as the A group moved into a shape resembling a contact lens, and both A and B began to move towards eachother. They began to order two thirds of their combat forces to move to the converging point, while the last third guarded the twenty siege cannons as they began to release salvos of fire on the enemy formation, their weapons trained on a point that accounted for both their current movement, as well as for the arc they would make as they maneuvered to converge on the A groups' position, all while the normal combat ships kept their weapons silent but ready for action. Meanwhile, the fighter groups continued to move and link up with the Tenebraen elements... To fall under tenebrean wing commander orders on priority targets.

/// Six of the ships, of which were the deflecter class artillery ships, began to enact forces on the graphite cloud that the Axioms had surrounded themselves with, beginning to move it into a spherical shape... The tall red eyed cybernetic human commands as he turns in his long black trench coat. Though the siege cannon class artillery ships were a great deal of distance away. Their munitions would be guided by the various monitering systems near and very far. And even updated by allied ships who would have eyes on. So to speak.

Jaseron listened as Novello contacted him and suggested the action, concentrating on both his words and the battlespace as he spoke.

"Well... considering the enemy is in a new formation, I'd say we add parabolic arcs to their flight path, as to catch them from above and below their direction of movement, so that if we do get some through, we can do some damage... I'll send the order." He said, again selecting a weapons menu for a few ship models in particular before drawing a path for them, they would head straight towards the hostile formation before arcing upwards and downwards, then hooking into the midst of the enemy formation and bursting into sub-munitions shortly before prime CIWS range... the thing about Carnaithian nuclear warheads is that they were essentially a self-mobile reactor, allowing massive power upon detonation, but the downside was that they were relatively large.

Meanwhile, Raztae listened to the prompt Tenebraen reply, and quickly checked his tactical map.

"Their co-ordinates are as follows, closing in with hostile counter-interception forces..." He said, marking several points.

"If you're going to re-enforce, send some forces now. I'm sure they'd appreciate the help." He added, checking the current scans of the 'beetles'... even harder to see against the void than the Shadowblade ships he was so accustomed to fighting in training sims.

Back in the Uran system, Glacian had helped to re-position the mages, now in more evenly spaced positions and with the more powerful individuals put in places between the less experienced ones as to help get a more even flow of energy into the tower, and they had also been instructed to begin a chant to the Carnaithian god for those who practiced the magic arts, by the name of Proucontotie.

"How long before you have to get in that thing, Glacian?" Felecia called out, interrupting her own chant to ask the question.

"I must assume control of the tower immediately if we are to fully charge it" Glacian replied and turned to jan.
"You. come with me. I will need assistance and those stones of yours are no good out here."

The magic being transferred to the tower was more visible now, taking the form of a soft glowing lime-green energy converging upon the tower which was now covered in it. a harmonic hum emenated from the tower's walls.

Jan, who had just finished configuring his gauntlet looked up with a frown.

"Bu- oh come on!" He said in annoyance, as he grabbed his small box and followed Glacian.

"What exactly do you need me for?" He inquired, now looking at his gauntlet and then the magic flowing into the tower... if Glacian was familiar with Carnaithian text, he would be able to tell that it read 'mages' training academy' on a small flat strip amongst the mostly jagged surface.

"in order to prevent abuse of the tower's abilities, two or more individuals must be active within while it is in use. at least one of the occupants must be a drake" Glacian said over the chanting as he walked toward the tower. he had uncuffed his suit's sleeves and wrapped them around to his elbows. as he got closer to the tower his arms shifted in appearance from being youthful human hands to white and blue pearlescent scaled drake claws.
"place your hand on the surface, human." he said, placing his own claw onto the tower.

Jan looked at Glacians' arms in surprise before his command snapped him out of it.

"Oh, umm yes sir..." He said, then placing his right hand, the one un-occupied by the gauntlet, onto the tower.

the outline of a large door appeared on the tower in a green glowing line around where the two placed their hands. the sound of air releasing accompanied the feeling of the wall giving way under their hands as the newly appeared door began to open itself.

Jan watched with interest as the door began to form, his hair moving about his head as it began to open and sending air out. He was interested, one could tell. He turned to Glacian to see what he did.

The door opened to reveal a large circular chamber, the walls decorated with images of recent carnaith history within ancerious. at the center of the chamber rested a large throne, clearly not meant for a human occupant. along its walls rested a series of what could only be described as consoles in the form of lime green hard light projections used for screens.
"Enter. quickly." Glacian told Jan as he entered the tower.

Jan was once again caught in a daze of admiration, snapping out of it he quickly jogged into the doorway, and peered at the size of the central throne. He then turned to the displays of the recent history.

"The tower watches ALL of that?" He inquired, recognizing some events from major news broadcasts.

"Such is the power of the vigil tower." Glacian said with a slight smirk. The doors closed behind jan and sealed themselves off from the outside world.
"Take control of one of the consoles. monitor the power levels and keep me informed." He said as he approached the throne. the rest of his form began to shift into his true drake form, he grew significantly taller as his skin turned into a mix of snow white fur and and pearlescent blue scales. a pair of long backward pointing horns formed behind his now canid, fox-like face. a single blue gem rested on his forehead and a large saphire now rested on his chest.  a long fur covered tail flowed behind him. his clothing transformed with him, now resenbling a mix of robes and his previous white suit. now in his true form, Glacian was slightly taller than jan, but just large enough to sit comfortably within the throne which activated with a series of hardlight consoles and displays.

Jan quickly ran over to a terminal and stood before it, and once activating calling out the charge progress.

"It says its' at 24%, Glacian." He said, calling out to him. He wanted to touch the panel, but he didn't want to screw anything up.

Glacian's sharp, turqouise eyes caught Jan's hesitation.
"Just speak to it. Vigil will do whatever you say." He said, waving his hand at one of his own screens which reacted to his motions and changed. "how about now. any increase?"

Jan took heed of Glacians' tip, and after he asked for the progress' acceleration, he turned to it. He tried to see if there was any difference, but wasn't in the mood to wait for the next percent to pop up.

"Umm... Vigil, display charge acceleration." He spoke aloud, the acceleration displaying as he spoke.

"It says it increased by fifty percent, Glacian." He called out, looking a bit more around the room as he waited for the next command.

"perfect. then now it is simply a matter of waiting." Glacian replied. "Vigil. show me the anomaly, scan the territory. I want an identification of all enemy forces" A holographic 3-D display of Carnaith space appeared before him, it zoomed in on the Histrion anomaly, holographic miniatures of all the ships present moved about in real time, a large formless mass represented the Histrion anomaly itself.
"The image has been filtered, Lord Glacian" A a voice called out from the screen. Glacian gave an frustrated growl. "Thank you, vigil...for spoiling my fun"

---////----

Ajas tapped multiple display screens as the bridge bustled around him. The Capitol fleet now having joined up with the Axiom fleet and taken up into a very precise formation, grafted by both fleets for optimum attack pattern as they closed with the first group of the CAE fleet. The Capitol ships kept formation, not deviating as they charged their long range Tachyon Arrows. At this distance it was still a very long shot to get any definite hits but never the less they charged anyway, the Capitol long range interceptors too engaged the incoming missiles and projectiles from the enemy fleet, with such large distances and travel time the majority of the incoming was destroyed, the Capitol ships finally retracting their massive hangar doors.

“Launch all fighters, have them screen the ships and engage missiles, tell the bombers to keep close to our ships until we need them” Ajas commanded, alert pings telling him the other enemy fleet was now on intercept course to link with the first.

“Yes sir” Came a reply as thousands upon thousands of craft leapt from hangars into the void, the fighters complementing the CIWS of the fleet in engaging the missiles.

“All Tachyon Arrows fire, maximum spread full dispersion pattern, get as many hits as possible and launch a salvo of nuclear munitions” Ajas ordered putting his hands to his mouth and leaning his elbows on his knees, watching the split yellow beams appear for but a brief blink in his vision as thousands of missiles launched and now sped towards the enemy, many would be destroyed for sure. But it was the TAs which would be the main hitters.
